Add Experimental Design

Edit Design - You can define the Conditions in Each Vial

You have completed your workup.  You have loaded your reagents and solvent to each vial.  The experimental run is underway.  While you are waiting for results take a few minutes to document what you have done.

Open Microsoft Excel.  Along the top row type "Experiment" in the first cell and then type parameters for each experiment in the succeeding cell to serve as headers.  Starting with the second row and going down the first column type in 1 to as many vials as are to be sampled (1, 2, 3... n).  Under each header for the row enter the value for that header.  Save this worksheet to the directory with the data folders for those vials.  Take a look below as an example.  Click here for a link to an example Design Sheet.  You can find this Design Sheet in the Example_Data through the link on the Configuration section of this website.

Load HPLC Data.  Select the button next to Edit Design.  See the circle in read above for location.  A Windows Explorer window will open.  Find this Microsoft Excel Design Sheet.  Select to download to iChemExplorer.  The window on the right side of iChemExplorer will be populated with the values for each parameter of the selected vial.

Use the Color by drop down in the tray graphic to color the vial positions by the selected parameter.  This Color by feature is also available in the Point Profile and Traffic Light Plot windows.

Have some fun.  Any questions please contact administrator@ichemexplorer.com.
