NEW SiNGLE StEP patented Filter Vial from Thomson Instrument Co. for Studies in Kinetics, Stability and Solubility

Filter Vial Housing, Insert and Cap with stir bars on iChemExplorer™ Heated Tray

The SiNGLE StEP filter vial from Thomson Instrument Co. uses a patented design to keep solids away from the sample. The filter is incorporated into the insert so that the sample volume inside is kept clear of solids that may be in the housing. Add stir bars to the housing and insert with the iChemExplorer™ to enhance diffusion across the filter.

The recommended part number 35544-500-ML has been qualified for the study of kinetics, stability and solubility of small molecules (<500 Daltons) with the iChemExplorer™ and Agilent HPLC/MS. The custom vial configuration uses a filter medium that is compatible with both hydrophobic and hydrophilic conditions and demonstrates good filtration. With stirring, the medium also provides good diffusion so that the solution is in equilibrium between housing and insert. This filter medium is only available through the part number shown above – 35544-500-ML.
