System Requirements: Windows Operating System 2000, XP or Vista. PC should be Pentium 2 equivalent or higher; 100 MB HDD minimum; 256 MB RAM minimum. HPLC control application such as Agilent ChemStation should be installed for iChemExplorer On-Line version. iChemExplorer may be run in Off-Line mode - for data vizualization and export only - without HPLC control program. All versions of iChemExplorer require that Microsoft Excel be loaded on the same PC.
iChemExplorer is licensed to the PC on which it is loaded. Once the iChemExplorer software is loaded on the PC then contact Reaction Analytics Inc. at administrator@ichemexplorer.com for the installation code and verification code. The software installer may be downloaded from the Configuration section of the www.ichemexplorer.com website.
The entry of the installation code and the verification code must be complete in a single session to install iChemExplorer. The installation procedure is as follows:
- The user downloads the software to the PC on which the iChemExporer software is used
- The user opens the iChemExplorer application. A window opens to enter the installation code
- Reaction Analytics provides the installation code.
- The user enters the installation code. A second window opens with the verification key and a box to enter the verification code. The user provides the verification code to Reaction Analytics.
- Reaction Analytics provides the verification code.
- The user enters the verification code. The iChemExplorer software opens.
A unique verfication key is unique to the session in which the verification key is generated. If the session is closed before the verification code is entered then the code will be invalid. The session should be reopened and the installation code entered again. A new verification key will be generated. Provide this new key to Reaction Analytics Inc. for the appropriate verification code.
